Dubai Frame history 

The Dubai Frame was conceptualized from architect Fernando Donis' vision in an international design competition held by ThyssenKrupp Elevator International and Dubai Municipality in 2009. 

Despite facing challenges and delays during its construction phase starting in 2013, the iconic structure was built painstakingly and was finally inaugurated by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum on January 1, 2018, signaling its completion. 

 A renowned landmark today, the Dubai Frame offers visitors a unique perspective on Dubai's past, present, and future through its iconic design and interactive exhibitions.

Present Dubai

The SkyDeck doubles as the Present Dubai exhibition. With interactive apps and augmented reality screens, visitors are given a tour of the different buildings and landmarks and are taught about Dubai's current accomplishments. Other technologies show different things about Dubai right now, like its buildings, money, and how things are built.

From a vantage point, they also get to see Old Dubai on one side and the Present one with towering skyscrapers on the other.
