La Perle is famously Dubai’s first permanent resident show. As if that weren’t reason enough to put this show on every tourist’s list of attractions they must visit – the show is characterized by a cast of talented acrobats who perform a series of enchanting and death-defying stunts. Many visitors have commended the 270-degree seating plan with which there seems to be no “bad seat” in the house.
So it is safe to say that no matter which day you choose, whether it is on the weekend or during the weekdays, you will have a fantastic experience provided you book your tickets in advance.
Since the peak season of Dubai falls in the winter months from December to February, you can take advantage of comfortable temperatures by exploring the many outdoor attractions of the city. But with this comes the disadvantage of long queues and thick crowds, especially during January and early February, owing to the Dubai Shopping Festival.
In contrast, the city is a much quieter affair during the low season, where you can enjoy a more relaxed pace of exploration. Although this comes with the advantage of slashed prices and attractive discounts on hotels and airlines, be cautioned that the weather becomes hotter during the low season. Either way, there is much to do in the city during both these times – from indoor museums, ski parks, and shows like La Perle to keep you away from the heat during the low season, to outdoor activities like waterparks, watersports, and dune bashing (to name but a few) during the high season of the city.
