Journey to the Future is arguably the most immersive exhibition at the Museum of the Future.
All of the 3,000 square meters of exhibition space is designed to transport you into the future, to the year 2071, the centenary of the founding of the United Arab Emirates. It is divided into three chapters spread over three different floors. The themes of the exhibition touch upon topics like space travel, bioengineering, individual well-being, healing and regeneration of a damaged ecosystem, etc.
Take off for a virtual space voyage where your elevator transforms into a spacecraft. On your way up, you will be rewarded with panoramic views of our beloved planet earth. The journey lasts around 4 minutes and will culminate with your arrival at the OSS Hope space station. Learn about the future possibility of leveraging the moon as a renewable source of energy.
Once you dock at the OSS Hope space station, explore what living like an astronaut truly feels like. Find out about their current missions, inventions, and discoveries and also learn fascinating details about living 600 km above the earth.
One of the best Museum of the Future experiences, it brings the Amazon rainforest to you! The rainforest simulation is intricately designed with stunning graphics to recreate the rich diversity of the Amazon. Also, you will learn about the threat posed by climate change to this precious ecosystem.
In this room, you will find rows upon rows of neatly suspended cylindrical capsules (that look like illuminated lamps) containing digital renderings of more than 2,000 plant and animal species. The overall view is nothing short of breath-taking!
Also called Oasis, this experience invites you to leave behind the world of technology and focus on reviving your senses. There are dedicated rooms like Sand Bath, Meditation Room, Ultrasonic Therapy, and Connections Therapy designed to rejuvenate your mind, body, and soul.
